When the right size adapter did not come with
the metal bending equipment one has to look around and find that one size needed to complete this task... ? And sure nuff this used 8" grinding stone happened to be the exact size I needed for some hold down clamps for the lake pump I'm mounting on the boat dock...I was getting too much wind and it was causing the dock to toss and turn and made extra play in the threads of the pipe coming out of the pump and the pressure shot the 1 1/2" pipe right out of the end of the pump...and then after

Have a Francken Plane....90% Sargent #3416 Jack plane....has a Bailey iron, chipbreaker is a Bailey off of a trans. plane....rear handle?? Rear handle didn't fit quite right...swapped that out.?? Iron needed to be flattened on the back, a new straight, single 25 degree bevel ground and honed to 2000grit.?? Chipbreaker?? placed on the bench, it would rock...flipped over, a ball pean hammer to "Un-rock" it...about 5 good "taps" right where the high spot was...then polished the edge.?? S
Kitchen Island
Seems the Boss wants a new one.??? Laid in a few board feet of Ash.. ? Short one is about 24" long.?? Longest are 5' long....all have been planed to 3/4" thick...mostly 5-3/4" wide...about $20 sitting there ? Boss found a photo in Google ( hence the BAD picture) Was able to copy the sizes needed...she wants a solid ( raised) panel in the door.?? A single 5" deep drawer.?? need to go out and buy a few casters. Was able to draw up a plan....Art Department
Finishing Bench
Now that I have a 10x12 empty room to use for finishing work I decided to build a small bench to do the finishing on, and then put in a drying rack.? Not wanting to take up alot of space I went with 24 inches x 36 inches?for footprint and 32 inches high.? No wheels, I can always revisit this if I want later.? The frame is easily several times heavier than needed but I have a tendency to overbuild or over load a bench so more is better in this regard. ? Progress so far is a completed fr
